The Founders Society was established to honor the gentlemen who started the Burke scholarship program in 1946. It is a group whose members donate to the Fund at higher levels. Members are invited to participate is various social and golf events.

Brad Faxon, Founders Society and PGA Tour Member, entertained Founders Society Members at the Rhode Island Country Club explained just how simple the task of striking a golf ball really is!!!! Brad demonstrated a variety of shots, answered questions, gave some personal one on one tips, providing insight as to just “how good these guys are”.
